• Age is not a Barrier

Andrew Hoy is an Olympian who has competed in eight Olympics and has won six Olympic medals throughout his sporting career, including three gold medals, two silver, and one bronze. At the age of 62, this hall of fame athlete is Australia’s oldest ever male Olympian. Most recently, Andrew won a Silver and a Bronze medal at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. The skateboarding champions Kokono Hiraki and Sky Brown are 12 and 13 years old and Olympic champions. It is the start of a lifetime of sporting success for both.

Athletes such as Ariarne Titmus and Emma Mckeon have overcome pressure, personal challenges and have been the target of criticism from competing for teams to triumph with numerous Olympic medals while setting new records.
